Veldi is a village situated in Manakondur mandal, Karimnagar
district of Telangana. It is one of 18 villages in Manakondur Block along with
villages like Lingapur and Vegurupally. It is located 11 kilometers from
Manakondur, 19 kilometers from Karimnagar and 170 kilometers from state capital Hyderabad. Veldi has it's own historical
places like Gadi (Fort), Chennakeshava swamy temple, and beautiful Manair
river. It has one government hospital, and four schools (including three
government and one private). The village has 500 years of history, which is
evident from the Gadi (Fort) at the center of the village & Chennakeshava
swamy temple.
